Great Things Happening at LCM!

Well, fall is here, we have some great plans going on in the church...

Weddings, baby dedications, new classes starting on Thursday nights and Celebrate Recovery beginning in October, children and teen ministry growing with joy, fall harvest party at Harvest Acres, Christmas Parade coming up in November, Revival in January, and a Women’s Seminar in February!

Interestingly enough, the Thursday night Bible studies are expanding. Chaplain Jim is starting an invitation only study for those who want their relationship with Jesus deeper in commitment, richer in Spirit and to find a love so high that they drown in it. Pastor Pam and Pastor Tom will be taking Frank’s place for the winter hockey season.

I am praying that over the next few months there won’t be anyone who hasn’t brought a new person to church. What a Christmas present to Jesus to have another 30-40 people learning His truth by then.

We will hear the testimonies of Brother Maurice and Sister Lanate in the next few weeks, along with their plans on how they’re going to love the teens in the neighborhoods. I am so excited about what God is doing in our lives!

We do have a large need to get the inside and the outside of the church spiffed up and some maintenance done. Winter is around the corner and we need to be ready. Please plan to help when the dates are given for those work days. Thanks to each and every one of you for doing your part in our church; it wouldn’t be what it is without your help!
