Inspirational Devotion

Here we are in another New Year! Many of you have made a resolution for change in the year 2018. Some will keep their promise and others will fall short. I would like to encourage you to not give up. If you fall short, be reminded what Paul wrote to the church at Corinth...

“...We do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2nd Corinthians 4:16-18).

So, no matter what it seems like, I urge you to persevere even when you feel you have failed. Get out your Bible and read Romans 5:1-11 and then allow the Word of God to renew your mind.

Receive this New Year blessing:

May the Father bless you with a growing assurance of His great love for you. May His grace and mercy fill you with unending peace. May your heart continually grow tender to the Spirit’s leading, and may you rest in the truth that He works all things together for good. In times of trial and pain, may you be overwhelmed by His presence and protection, and may health and wisdom be yours in abundance today and throughout this blessed New Year.
